I bought a toy-size (7-12 lbs) vest for my mini-poodle. He just makes the mini category and weighs about 9 pounds. Since he is at his optimum weight, the vest is a little big for him. The front adjustable strap is shortened up as far as it can go; the torso strap a little less so. If I hadn't had the R.E.A.D. logo stitched on it, I probably would exchange it for the smaller size, which would most likely fit him a little better. The toy sized vest probably fits other breeds of dogs better.

You will not be disappointed with This R.E.A.D. vest . The construction is very well done. The fit is very comfortable for all our R.E.A.D Therapy Dogs,
The colors are lovely and bright...our favorite ..is the lovely stitching of both the Intermountain R.E.A.D. Logo and each therapy dogs name.
We make quite an impression when handlers and R.E.A.D DOGS visit our local Libraries in their R.E.A.D Dog Vests.

The R.E.A.D. vest that I ordered for my Greyhound, Cleo, was great! It fit perfectly. Cleo's name looks great on it and she looks very prodessional wearing it.

We have vests from our therapy group, a hospital we volunteer at as a team, and now from R.E.A.D. I think the R.E.A.D. is our favorite not just in quality but in the fact that it is personalized for Wille. The kids love it! I do recommend that if you get the patches that you get two (they put them on either side). That's the only thing I wish I had done (I got only 1).

I just received my READ vest for Romeo. We had it personalized and ordered it in his favorite color, purple. It fits him perfectly - the straps are not too long when the vest is propeerly fit on him! No dragging like on other vests he has.
